  • FSP assists Asian victims and their families who suffer from any types of above violence in the community. The program supports and assists the victims by helping them to understand their options and working with them on making important decisions about the American social system including legal/court, medical and educational system. We have trained staff and volunteers who are bilingual in Cambodian, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Laotian, and Vietnamese. FSP provides necessary intervention, ensuring confidential, efficient, accurate and client-friendly services.
  • FSP is also looking for volunteers. Volunteers do not have to speak Asian languages. By helping victims of violence, volunteers can have a significant impact in clients’ lives and the community.
  • Volunteers at FSP will assist the victims with:
  • Transportation
  • Shopping and daily errands
  • Crisis intervention
  • Advocacy-based counseling
  • Resource regarding victim services
  • Basic education about patterns and cycle of abuse
  • Emotional and physical support to victims involved in criminal court system
  • Safety Plan
